The session will involve singing and talk about the hymns in the new hymnal, some new from Norway, and beloved.

The Moravian/ Bohemian Reformation, the source of the Daily Text, might have been our reformation except its leader, John Hus, was captured and burned at the stake 100 years before Martin Luther.  The Daily Texts are now translated into 50 languages and will be made available. 

A quorum of the voting members is required to conduct business, receive the reports, accept the proposed financial guidelines for 2025, and approve the slate of candidates for the executive committee, congregation council, & the nominating committee.

Bud Larsen learned t build Hardanger fiddles from Gunnar Helland, a member of the Helland fiddle maker family from Norway who ran a violin shop in Fargo, ND. Bud has built more than 40 fiddles during his career. Not only does he build them he also has repaired more than 100.

Since his untimely death by hanging at the hands of the Nazis in April 1945, pastor, theologian and conspirator Dietrich Bonhoeffer has continued to inspire people through his writings and responsible actions. Come and hear Pastor John Matthews convey the essence and dynamics of Bonhoeffer’s life.

We will explore their work among Norwegians in the Upper Midwest, particularly in Minnesota, with side trips to Norway and other parts. See also the article in February's Norwegian/American newspaper telling of one family's Methodist roots in Norway and Minneapolis.
