Mindekirken's Festival Service 

10:45 a.m. Choral Prelude with the Norwegian Glee Club and Kvinnekor, ending with a trumpet and organ piece

11:00 a.m. Festival Worship Service, Norwegian style, with the sermon delivered in English (Pr. Gunnar Kristiansen) 

A folketoget/barnetoget (a 17. Mai, traditional walking parade for everyone) will take place directly after the service, at about 12:00pm.

Norwegian and USA flags are provided for waving during the parade.
Then join us on the Mindekirken and Norway House block for fun, food and festivities - norsk style, our style.

Activities will conclude about 3 p.m.  Norway House will also be open during this time so you can check out their gallery and show your friends the space!

Carpooling is encouraged!  Off-site parking is available at E. Franklin and Bloomington Aves. in the Community University Health Care Center, which is just an 8 minute walk to church along E. 21st Street.
