Parking Update: January 30, 2023
Please note... NEW Winter Parking Restrictions affecting street parking around Mindekirken - Parking banned on the EVEN-numbered sides:
- 21st Street: Park on the south side of 21st Street, which is the side not adjacent to the front of the church.
- 10th Avenue and Elliot Avenue: The odd side is on the east sides of the streets. This means:
- On Elliot, you can park on the side adjacent to the new parking lot and the new Norway House Event Center (vehicle facing north).
- On 10th Avenue, you can park on the side not adjacent to the main church (vehicle facing north).
Per Minneapolis: Parking will be banned on the EVEN numbered side of non-Snow-Emergency routes until April 1, unless conditions allow the City to lift the ban earlier. Parking is allowed on Snow Emergency routes, parkways, and the ODD numbered side of non-Snow Emergency routes, unless otherwise posted. Drivers parking in Minneapolis must follow these Winter Parking Restrictions, or they could be ticketed and towed. Click here for full info.
- All parking lots are open: North, Canopy and West
- Enter from 10th Avenue or Elliot Avenue
- Unfortunately, the lots are not striped this winter so please park carefully, making room for as many as possible.
- Handicapped Access: At the canopy-covered entrance via the parking lots
- From 21st Street there is a new sidewalk along the west side of the church that takes you into the parking lot, where you can go to the canopy entrance.

Thank you for your patience!
Mange takk!
